LANCR congratulates Megan Fitzgibbons!

Yesterday, we learned that The Canadian Association of College and University Libraries (CACUL) honoured Megan Fitzgibbons with the New Academic Librarian of the Year Award for 2011. The press release cited Megan’s “stellar work with the Political Science department and the Centre for Continuing Education language programs” at McGill, as well as her involvement in numerous professional associations (CLA, ABQLA, and Educause) and her “remarkable” publication record.

Lucky Ottawans will have the privilege of hearing Megan speak about concept mapping for LANCR next Monday, May 9th. Haven’t signed up yet? We can squeeze you in – be sure to RSVP to lancrinfo –at–

Congratulations, Megan!
