A celebration of censored/banned/challenged books, plays and music, featuring special guest Zarganar, actor, writer, comedian, opposition activist in Burma, and Honorary Member of PEN, host Bob LeDrew, and:

  • Writers: Alan Cumyn, Nichole McGill, Brendan McNally,
  • Poets: Max Middle and others
  • Librarians: former City Librarian Barbara Clubb, Dorothy Jeffreys, and children’s programmer extraordinaire Sarah Campbell,
  • Art lovers: Don Monet from the CUBE Gallery and Marie-Camille Lalande from the Ottawa Art Gallery,
  • Musicians: Marc Nelson, Brian Simms, Andrea Simms-Karp, and Colin Wylie

Presented by Ottawa Tonite in collaboration with the Library Association of the National Capital Region, Ottawa Public Library staff, local writers, singer-songwriters, VerseFest Ottawa, The Gladstone Theatre and the Ottawa theatre community.
