Meeting the next generation

Seeking librarians, information specialists, library technicians and employers who are interested in meeting the next generation.

Dear library enthusiasts:

We are contacting you with regards to our 1st Student Networking Event!

The purpose of this event is to provide a unique networking opportunity for library and information science students in the National Capital Region. This event is geared towards Library and Information Science at the Masters Level, as well as students in the Library Technician program.

We are currently seeking professional librarians, information specialists, library technicians and employers from all areas of library and information science, who are interested in meeting the next generation. What will you get out of this event? An opportunity to meet potential employees, colleagues and leaders of tomorrow. And of course, the event promises to be a good time for everyone involved.

The networking event will take place on January 23, 2012 at 5:30pm at the Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library (Room B125).
